Designer (Full Time Position)
Vancouver, BC, Canada
We are a dynamic, entrepreneurial and private technology company
that sells quality products and services with a vision of becoming
the leading web site building Technology Company in Canada. We are
seeking a Creative Designer, to provide graphic design services and
solutions for our ever-growing client base.
The successful candidate will have proven design skills –
through work experience, projects and studies, and will have
completed or near completed a degree or post grad in graphic design
or related studies. You will be able to demonstrate your learning
to date with various mock-ups and designs for web sites, and have
exposure to the testing of web site designs.
The successful candidate must be a self-starter and have
existing experience providing customer focused support in a web
environment. Working in a fast-paced, innovative environment you
will be empowered to create web design and related services to
small business customers.
Responsibilities:
· Manage design work through direct client consultation when
ever possible
· Manage the design process from consultation through to
publication
· Develop and maintain relationships with current clients
· Manage our customer support process
· Maintaining and document project workflow
· Manage and maintain applications that make these functions
possible
· Lead, manage and support other team members in design and provide
ongoing project updates, support and training
• Requirements:
• Vector Artwork Software (Flash and
Illustrator or similar)
• Digital Imaging Software (Photoshop or
similar)
• Page Layout
• HTML knowledge
• CSS knowledge
Desired Skills:
• Ideally you will be educated to degree
standard
• Full Adobe CS experience
Compensation:
The compensation for this position includes a base salary with a
commission plan and benefits.
